Hi, Karen! I just found your blog via GooneyBird Kids! Great stuff! I work with various indie artists and labels. I’ll be sending you news about Chicago events that I’m working on right now - concerts from Putumayo Kids/Asheba and SteveSongs in June. It would be great if you can post them.

    Hi Beth,

Thanks for the info! I do have the events on my calendar and Be Bye Baby is only a couple of blocks from my house, so I’m really looking forward to going to the concert. Please do let me know about upcoming events!

    Hi Ann,

Thanks for getting in touch! I really appreciate the updates on your shows. It is surprisingly hard to find out what kids show are going on. I live on the same block as Schubas and it is still diifficult to find out when kids shows are going to be happening.

    Hi Karen,
Please come to my kids concert this Sunday, June 10 at 11am. The concert is listed under my name, Jennifer Trowbridge, on the North Stage at Rascher and Clark for the Andersonville Midsummarfest. My students will be performing guitar, piano, saxophone and percussion as well as singing and dancing. The repertoire ranges from Old MacDonald Had a Farm to rock and reggaie songs by Chuck Berry, Elvis and Bob Marley. In preparation for their performance, my students got to participate in two performance workshops with stage director Amy Hutchison. I hope that you can come. Please spread the word. This will be a very special concert performed by kids ranging in age from five to thirteen years old. Sincerely, Jennifer Trowbridge

I would like to be added to any e-mail list you have that you send out with the kids concerts. Please let me know if this is available or if I need to just keep checking back on this site.

    Thank you.

    Hi Amy,

We haven’t done a mailing list up to now, but it does seem like it would be useful. Thanks for mentioning it. I’ll see what I can do about setting it up.
