About
I head up the assessment technology company, Forall Systems and I’m mom to two Chicago Public School students who are my amazingly wonderful daughters. I’ve been developing software professionally for the last 25 years. My undergrad degree is in Math from the University of Maryland at College Park and my Ph.D. is in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. I used to do research in semantics of concurrency and programming language design and I was an Assistant Professor and taught in the Software Engineering program at DePaul University before being inspired by the possibilities of the Palm Pilot and founding ForAllSystems. I love how my work brings together the various parts of my life and exposes me to the newest and most exciting aspects of technology and education.
